Columbia University – Mr. Kelly has served Columbia University as an Industry Advisor, Principal Investigator, & Project Manager.
Projects include CO2- sequestering ultra-lightweight concrete, novel building integrated solar energy systems, and polymeric strain gages for structural health monitoring and physical testing.
Mr. Kelly was one of the founding members of the Columbia University Alumni Club’s Sustainability Committee and its groundbreaking educational series: Making Green From Green
As a founding member of The Cooper Union Institue for Sustainable Design in New York City, Mr. Kelly served as an industry advisor and instructor, teaching courses on green building renovations and sustainable design.
He also wrote grants for green building projects and for novel power generation systems.
